I've noted down that the decision between taking a lead and check-raising with our backdoor equity and premiums is dependant on position, flop texture and player type of the remaining players left to act. Would therefore taking the betting lead after flopping the set of 4s would make more sense on a drier flop. Less draws to bet from the players left to act. Eg. 4‐way pot, 44 on K64 rainbow with only 1 player left to act. Also thanks Jon, tremendous content, great interaction with the students and awesome explanation on a variety of different spots.

This actually helped me so much. I was definitely the guy betting every J and every A playing super face up... And now my play is much more deceptive and I can trap people better. Thanks Jonathan!

Great video! On the final hand, would we really want to jam on the turn for 30 BB/100% pot? Wouldn't a solver prefer a 33%-50% bet (based on my knowledge on SRP check-raise pots on the turn, I know this is different but still). Thanks a lot for the great knowledge!
